Breakfast Pitas


Ingredients (use vegan versions):

  • 2-3 stalks of broccoli
  • onion
  • garlic
  • Gimme Lean Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 package of silken extra firm tofu
  • Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
  • whole wheat pita pockets
  • fresh salsa (optional)
  • your favorite Italian Dressing


Slice tofu into very small cubes and put it in a
bowl. Squirt/spray your Bragg’s all over it. Let it sit
while you cook the other ingredients.

Saute onion and
garlic until it smells yummy. Add chopped broccoli and
stir fry until tender.

Meanwhile, crumble half Gimme Lean
Sausage package into hot olive oil and fry until that
smells yummy.

Now go ahead and saute your tofu. When all
is done, warm your pita pocket in the microwave. I layer
it with tofu, then Gimme Lean Sausage, then broccoli.
Finally, top it with salsa and Italian Dressing. (The last
part is optional and depends on your taste.) Hope you like

Serves: 2 hungry people

Preparation time: 15-20 minutes
