Hot Cocoa


Ingredients (use vegan versions):

  • 1 cup vegan soymilk per serving
  • 1 level tablespoon vegan cocoa powder per serving
  • 1 tablespoon vegan coffee creamer (optional) per serving
  • 1 heaping tablespoon dried cane juice (Sucanat) per serving


Stove top directions: Pour soy milk into a saucepan and heat over
a medium flame. Add other ingredients when soy milk is hot, but do not let
bubble. Stir until cocoa is dissolved. Serve immediately.

Microwave directions (faster, but cocoa doesn’t dissolve as
well): Pour soy milk into a microwaveable mug. Nuke on
high for one minute. Add other ingredients and stir gently until
cocoa is dissolved. Serve immediately.

Serves: as many as you want!

Preparation time: Approximately 10 minutes
