Date Bread

Ingredients (use vegan versions): 1 cup chopped dates and 1/2 cup raisins 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 tablespoons non-hydrogenated vegan margarine or soy spread 1/4 cup vegan brown sugar (optional) 1 cup boiling water 2 cups whole wheat flour Directions: Mix ingredients. Then, add flour. Bake in 350o F oven for 45 min. \n
